Sharing Perspective

Details are enchanting. Sometimes addictive, sometimes distractive.
Perspective is always healthy, balancing, even soothing. After a dose of Details, now, some redeeming Perspective to share!

Vatican and Ponte Sant'Angelo from Ponte Umberto I.

Ponte Umberto I over Tiber River.
Curvy Tiber River, bridges and St Peter's in the horizon.

Vatican from Muro between Piazza del Popolo and Villa Borghese.
Trinita dei Monti from and through Via Condotti.
A perspective from uphill Via Sistina, looking towards Trinita dei Monti (obelisc at its piazza).

Santa Francesca and mountains.

Castel Sant'Angelo from the other side of the Tiber. And Ponte Sant'Angelo.

Vatican's Museum, from the inner garden.

Gardens at Vatican's Museum. Yes, that's the "Sfera con Sfera" (see "Where am I?" posting) in sheer contrast when you get the perspective.

Checked Perspective: Rome on the way up to the top of St Peter's dome (outside).

Checked Perspective: from the inner balcony at St Peter's dome.

Sometimes, the only way of appreciating beauty in its totality is from the distance. Vatican's gardens from the top of St Peter's dome (above and below photos).

Vatican's Museum and gardens from the top of St Peter's dome.
Piazza San Pietro: the view from the Apostoles statues.
Because perspectives can also be looking inwards: St Peter's altar in perspective.

A visual cascade: Piazza San Pietro into Via della Conciliazione, into the tip of a curve of the green Tiber-  from the top of St Peter's dome.
